Day 305: New Shelves!

We are blessed that Davey's dad is a carpenter by trade. He just finished making us custom bookshelves to replace the other ones he made for us before moving in here. Though the old ones will always be in our memory as Daniel's first bedroom (yes, they literally created the walls to his room when we lived at my parents.) We are in love with these! Wider and taller. Davey still has more books than can fit on them but we'll figure out what to do with those later.

Dave and Marie came down last night and Dave got to work installing stuff this morning. He not only made these book shelves but he also made ones to replace the wire rack shelving in our pantry, linen closet, and laundry closet. He put an extra shelf in my clothes closet and one in our coat closet. It all looks so nice and makes so much more storage space!

Grandpa's little helper, handing him screws.

Daddy's little helper, putting books on the new shelves.

All filled!

New pantry shelving with an extra shelf added to the bottom.

 Linen closet.

Laundry closet. In here there was only one wire rack that didn't even go the width of the closet. Now we have 3 full length and deeper shelves.
